expected.

and confusion to discover a relationship with Devine presence in their everyday
lives.

Authors


Franklin CampbellJones (raised as
Franklin Lawrence Jones) was born and raised in El Dorado, Arkansas where he
attended Fairview Elementary School, Booker T. Washington Jr. and High School,
and El Dorado High School. He completed his senior year of high school in Santa
Cruz, California in 1969 were he was the recipient of a scholarship to the
University of California at Santa Cruz. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts
degree, he completed his California teaching license certification at
Sacramento State University. He later received his Master of Arts and Doctorate
Degrees at the prestigious University of San Francisco in San Francisco,
California.


Brenda was born and raised in San Bernardino, California
and attended Ramona and Alessandro Elementary Schools, Franklin
Jr. High
School eventually graduating from San Bernardino High School
in 1969.  After earning her BA degree
from the University of Redlands, she attended California State Fullerton and
received her Master of degree.  At the
age of 50, she earned her Ph.D from the nationally acclaimed Claremont Graduate
University in Claremont, California.


Franklin has co-authored three books. The
first, The Culturally Proficient School:
An Implementation Guide for School Leaders
is a best seller. The second book
he coauthored with Brenda, The Cultural
Proficiency Journey: Moving Beyond Ethical Barriers Toward Profound School
Change
. Both books are published by Corwin Press and are used in schools
throughout the United States and Canada. Their latest book, Journey of Spirit Walk of Faith: Our
Relationship with God
is being hailed as an “I can’t put it down” true
story of their walk of faith as they gave up their life in California as God
commanded and moved to the east coast.


Brenda and Franklin are former teachers,
administrators and university professors as well as internationally acclaimed seminar
facilitators on the subjects of cultural proficiency and organizational change.
They founded their company, CampbellJones
& Associates,
in 2000.


The couple live in Virginia where they
are working on their next must read book.
