El Dorado Days Event Schedule: The Nile and Marzell Smith Museum of African American History is hosting a fund raiser Ball on Saturday, June 30, at Washington Middle School . South Arkansas African American Historical Society (SAAAHS) will hold a dedication program on Saturday, July 5, at First Baptist Church, 620 Cordel Street. The program will begin at 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Following the program, Washington High School Class of 1968 will sponsor a brunch. A tour of the museum will follow. SAAHS is now online.
