South Arkansas African American Historical Society (SAAAHS) will hold a dedication program on Saturday, July 5, at First Baptist Church, 620 Cordel Street.  The program will begin at 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Following the program, Washington High School Class of 1968 will sponsor a brunch.  A tour of the museum will follow. Marzell W. Smith

Marzell Wilbert Smith, 91, of El Dorado, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. She was born Jan. 27, 1922, the second child to Shep and Gracie Williams Wilbert.
